About this activity

You will enjoy a coffee break at Choirokoitia on the way.After passing from Strovilia checkpoint we enter the Turlish army occupied area, where you will visit the ancient Kingdom of Salamis ,St.Varnavas church and St.Nicolaos cathedral . Then you will have free time to be used for walking or for lunch(not included in the price).The tour continues by viewing the Ghost City of Varosi which remains idle since 1974 (passing without stop). Then we are on our way to return to Paphos. .

Paphos to Famagusta

This tour was worth to do, It’s long day trip, we arrived back to Paphos 6:30 PM. You can get short overview about Famagusta region. On the each place we hasn’t much time, but I understood it is one day trip.

It's definitely a must do!

This is absolutely worth every penny! Our tour guide was very nice and was detailed throughout the tour. The views were beautiful and went to some amazingly historical places. When stopping off at famagusta, the food was amazing and was a great place for lunch! The only thing is the border control to get back to paphos we were stuck there for an hour.

Interesting day trip to Famagusta.

The trip was very interesting. Our tour guide, Vasos, was friendly, helpful and gave us a comprehensive overview of Cyprus agriculture, history and specifics of the sites we visited. The timings of the visit were very good, although it would have been nice to have had another half an hour in Famagusta walled city. Seeing the Ghost town was a moving and memorable experience. Our driver Christos was also very pleasant and drove the 400km safely and smoothly. The bus was very clean, but unfortunately very cramped so a bit uncomfortable on this long day trip. Overall the trip was very good value for money and we would recommend it.
