The Demetris Chara boat offers a unique experience to observe the wonderful Akamas peninsula and takes you on a 45 minute scenic route to the beautiful Blue Lagoon. You’ll pass stunning sights such as the Baths of Aphrodite, St George’s Church & Island, and the Manolis Sea Caves. While you swim in the magnificent crystal clear water or relax on deck, the staff fire up a feast for a BBQ meal on board. From pork and chicken souvla to olives, potatoes, salad, couscous and fruit, you’ll be spoilt for choice – and that’s just the food. The boat also includes a well stocked bar serving tea, coffee, beer, soft drinks and cocktails, all at very reasonable prices. The boat leaves from Latchi harbour at 10.30am every day and arrives back at 2.45pm.But they are also available for sunset trips on certain days,

Fabulous day trip

Booked the trip with Yannis at Paphos harbour, explained all the details & had hotel pickup. He kept us updated on the pickup time the next day, great service. About an hour's drive to Latchi harbour to board the boat. This was the hilight of our week, clean boat friendly crew & a fantastic rotisserie BBQ lunch freshly prepared onboard while we swam & snorkelled. Picked Demetris-Chara as this trip spent longer at Blue Lagoon we had about 3 hours swimming time whilst the other trips left after their lunch. Can highly recommend if you want a relaxing day out in a beautiful location with great food.

Absolutely brilliant

We had a fantastic time the crew were friendly and couldn't do enough to help me as I have problems with my mobility. The food was excellent would advise anyone to go with demetris and will be taking our grand children next year

The most PERFECT day

So we decided to take a trip to the blue lagoon, now of course there are many different operators which can offer a boat trip and if that’s ALL you want then great HOWEVER ! If you want a truly fabulous day then Demetris is the only one …. We arrived at the marina in plenty of time and had a morning coffee in the local coffee shop (it’s advisable to arrive 30 minutes beforehand as not to delay the departure and you can get yourself organised and choose your seat on the boat ). The boat itself is spotless and there is plenty of seating to give you stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding shoreline as you make your way to the blue Lagoon. There is a fully stocked bar which by the way make the most fantastic mojito

Must do when in Paphos

Had a fantastic day with Demetris Chara, commentary on the journey for point of interest. Beuatiful Blue Lagoon and because they include a BBQ lunch you don't have to leave to early which most of the other boats do. Lunch was lovely and plentiful complemented with a drink. It was the perfect family day out and Demetris was a delight to talk too. I highly recommend and we will do it again for sure!

Great day out on the water

Picked up at 8.45 and dropped off at 15.45 - a great day at sea After our bus journey to Latchi the boat sailed around 10.30 and stopped in a bay for swimming around 11.45. Whilst swimming a bbq was being prepared at the front of the boat for eating around 12.30 - it was excellent with chicken pork potatoes and salad - wine was on offer as well and there was also a paying bar. The boat was spacious accommodating 120 people in 2 decks and plenty of space all around. We left the bay around 13.15 and back in Latchi an hour or so later before our mini bus brought us back to our Hotel A great way to spend the day and well worth the money
