About this activity

Our sit-on-top kayaks can be used by individuals with no experience for a fun exploration of scenic coastlines in Cyprus. In this trip, we pass by 2 natural and 1 manmade beach, and if the water is calm, we enter 2 sea caves (but not from 15 Nov to 15 Mar), 1 of which has 2 entrances. We also visit Lovers' bridge. The water is crystal clear and an addition of snorkelling enriches the experience even more. Expected exploration time (pick-up from): Agia Napa - >5 hours Protaras - About 5 hours Larnaca - >4 hours (free part of) Nicosia - <4 hours If we have time we may also kayak to Cape Greko Sea Caves and back to Limnara beach (an additional 3.5 km of kayaking on top of the nearly 8 km). A max of 2 travellers kayaking at any time (upto 4 from 2023). If the customers agree, in case of forecasted choppy sea, instead we kayak around east Cape Greko (if the weather is expected to be bad everywhere, we cancel the trip).

Ayia Napa
30 min - It must be noted that as per the advice of seal specialists, from November to March 15 we do not enter the Sea Caves and we do not go very close to them, because Mediterranean monk seals and their puppies may be using them. We should not disturb them. We visit the caves during the rest of the year, provided the sea is not very choppy. Agia Napa Sea Caves complex is the most western point of our itinerary. The complex comprises a collection of sea caves and rock formations, on the east side of the Agia Napa fishing port, just east of the two beaches of Pantahou and Glyky Nero. Some are almost too narrow for even a single person to enter, others are wider, some have a form of a tunnel or of a natural arch (the famous Lovers' Bridge). Again, depending on our discussion we may stop here for a dip.

Cape Greco
30 min - This cove has been know as 'Palaces' due to their grand, artificial appearance. A very popular cove visited as a rule by land. The waters are very clear. Often, a number of people dive from the top of the cliff. We visit the Sea Caves, depending on travellers' preference and profile. Doing both sea cave complex may be too tiring for a number of the kayakers, especially if the water is a bit choppy.

Amazing time!

Had a great morning with Phivos sea kayaking. He was super friendly and professional and knew lots of interesting things about the local area. I hadn’t been in a Kayak for quite a few years but Phivos made me feel confident and I had a fab time. Definitely recommend!

Excellent kayaking tour!

We had the most amazing time kayaking around the coast of Ayia Napa, we started at Limnara beach and got a thorough tour of all the sea caves and beautiful sights around the island. The water was crystal clear and the weather was perfect. Phivos, our tour guide was amazing. He had very thorough knowledge of all the sights and history of Cyprus. He was very relaxed and let us chose the pace of the whole trip. Me and my partner would definitely recommend this trip, we went as a couple but would be very good for group/family trips as well. Thank you again Phivos!
