Welcome to a fascinating world!

Scuba diving offers unique sensations that no other sport on the planet can give. Discover Scuba Diving is a half day program for beginners – a unique opportunity for you to live the scuba experience.

You will start with a short video explaining the basics of scuba diving, followed by a briefing from our PADI instructors who will help you to become familiar with your scuba gear and get ready for your first breath underwater.

Before you know it you will be in our pool practicing a few simple skills and into the sea you go to enjoy your first open water dive.

Your first dive will be at our training dive site Roman Wall. It is safe and easy, at a maximum depth of 6m with added features for your comfort such as a sloping descent line to the bottom. This is an underwater playground for all divers, find yourself surrounded by Roman Amphorae, old anchors and beautiful marine life such as octopus and green turtles.

Dive in!

This was my first diving experience and we really liked it. Tough in beginning of December, the waster was not too cold and we had a short testing of our skills at the beginning to make sure we learned everything, and then a half hour or so dive. We were able to see several species of fish, unfortunately the turtles are only in the summer. The staff was really helpful, patient and nice. We hope to have the next experience soon!

My husband and I were super excited - and also a bit nervous - what to expect from the course. What surprised us most was the kindness, relaxedness and patience of the instructors (Pascal, Ken, Marc, etc.).

All of them were nice, funny and above all helped us a lot to make the experience really unforgettable. We would definitely come back again!!!

Fantastic introduction to Scuba Diving

I booked the Discover Scuba Experience and was picked up from my hotel by Mark who was friendly and helpful. Once we were at the dive Center we were greeted by Pascal who was to be our instructor for the afternoon. We got the necessary paperwork out of the way and watched a short video, afterwards we went through the material in more detail. Pascal was a great instructor and made sure that everyone understood the material before moving on to the next topic. We practiced all the things we had just learnt, in the pool in groups of 3. I was with another instructor, Ken, who again was great, helpful and patient.
During the open water dive there were three instructors with us at all times so felt completely safe. Thoroughly recommend Cydive and would definitely use them again.
