You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a winery plus a visit to the scenic Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, donkey milk, honey and traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch.

Last Friday I joined the tour

First the instructor who also drove
She was amazing, nice and professional
She was attentive to the group and gave advice to make it pleasant
I really enjoyed and hope to join more routes again
She was very nice and knowledgeable and we had a lot of conversations during the trip. All the places were very special and tasty and we even purchased some stuff to take back home.
It's obvious that Elena loves her work and she does it with a lot of joy.
During the trip, Elena took a lot of pictures of us, so we will have a lot of memories from this trip.
All the places, we visited were very local and authentic that we could not visit by ourselves.
Very recommended day trip while you are in Paphos!
Elena is an engaging hostess, keeping everyone interested in the tour and our comfort, even reminding me to take a jacket on our last stop as evening fell and the sun set! When I mentioned on the way to my hotel my fondness for baklava, she stopped at a local bakery and surprised me with a large piece of this delectable treat!

The communication was spot on from as soon as I made the booking - the team responded to my questions about dietary requirements very quickly. I was emailed detailed information about the day and picked up from the hotel as promised at 9.00 (just before actually!) by my host, Myra. I was with two other couples in a comfortable vehicle. Myra was just so brilliant: warm, engaging, larger than life and really knows her stuff about the island.
Our first stop was the infamous Aphrodite Delights sweet shop to sample traditional sweets and treats, followed by a visit to a local museum, where we learnt about and saw ancient textiles, materials and fabrics amongst other things.
After that, a short drive to taste the most delicious Halloumi (via an impromptu stop to see olive oil being made!)
I was unsure about our next stop, but it was brilliant. We arrived at Elaiones Stagona with its fantastic view for olive oil tasting! We tried different olive oils, pastes and jams - and they had even catered for my gluten free requirements with more bread than I could possibly eat!
We then visited an ancient monastery, before enjoying a plentiful lunch.
Finishing off our day was wine tasting at Tsangarides Winery in an exquisite location. After a short tour of the facilities, we sampled locally produced wine and had a lot of laughs in our group. I was back at the hotel around 5.30/6pm.
It really was a superb day, Myra was the perfect guide and I would definitely recommend it to you if you're thinking of enjoying a guided day out in Paphos.
The organization was good and everything went according to the plan. I recommend this tour.
